Tell me about your Edinburgh show.

My grandmother always said: “Life is harder than a dick can get!” She also said that my show is great.

Tell me about your first gig.

Then 🙁

Now 🙂

Do you have any rituals before going on stage?

I try to go on stage in the same way, that I would go into a furniture shop. Nice and relaxed. I don’t really have a ritual for that.

Tell me about your best and worst review.

Come and see my show, invite me for a beer afterwards and I might tell you about it.

During this Edinburgh run, do you plan to read reviews of your show?

Yep!

How do you feel about reviewers generally?

When they are nice, they are nice. When they are good looking, they are good looking. When they eat soup, they eat soup. When they smile, they smile. When they write a bad review about my show, then… I get very sad.

In April 2018, YouTube comedian, Markus Meechan (aka Count Dankula) was fined £800 for training his girlfriend’s pug dog to do a Nazi salute with its paw, in response to the phrase ‘Gas the Jews’. Do you believe Meechan committed a criminal offence, and why?

I am not familiar with that case. For sure isn’t is not criminal.

Are there any subjects that are not suitable for comedy?

Behind every joke stands a person and I think it depends on that person, if a subject is suitable or not.

Have you ever gone too far?

My furthest destination was Mexico and it was not too far for me yet.

Looking back over your time as a comedian, tell me about the best gig of your career.

It was the best.
